If you're a longtime fan of The Matrix franchise just as I am, then you've probably spent the past sixteen years wondering when Warner Bros. would green light as fourth installment - if ever. That's in stark contrast to our present situation, as the film is now coming together so quickly that it's hard to believe this is actually happening.
At this point, it may be time to put the phrase "DC Extended Universe" out to pasture because there's not much in the way of connectivity going forward. Jason Momoa and Gal Gadot may be sticking around as Aquaman and Wonder Woman, respectively, sure, but then we have a rebooted Batman in the form of Robert Pattinson and a standalone Joker movie starring Joaquin Phoenix standing alongside them.
With Dawn of X launching a new line of X-Men books, it only makes sense that a Wolverine solo title be among those. In fact, it'll stand alongside the likes of Giant-Size X-Men, X-Men/Fantastic Four and X-Corp as part of the second wave. Not too shabby, if I must say so myself.
Having already been familiar with Batwoman comic book lore myself, I think the producers made the right decision when adapting Alice as the very first big bad to terrorize the TV show. After all, she did butt heads with her sister, Kate Kane, in the heroine's first major solo story arc, Elegy.
Following the massive success of this year's Resident Evil 2 remake, it's no wonder that Capcom is open to revisiting some of its other classics and dusting off various intellectual properties. With that in mind, fans have already begun pondering the possibilities of modernized versions of the first Dino Crisis and Devil May Cry games, in addition to several others.
At the time of this writing, we've had the chance to enjoy only two episodes from Arrow's eighth and final season. But when it comes to production on the DC Comics-based series, it's actually close to wrapping. Yes, filming on episode 8x10, the series finale, is right around the corner, so ready your tissues.
Even though we're only three episodes deep into Supernatural's fifteenth and final season, we've already witnessed the return of several key supporting players. Unfortunately, that meant saying goodbye to Rowena MacLeod (Ruth Connell) and Arthur Ketch (David Haydn-Jones), but we did finally reacquaint ourselves with Amara (Emily Swallow), who's still out there somewhere. And if that weren't enough, Kevin Tran (Osric Chau) even put in an appearance.
Now that the fifteenth and final season of Supernatural is well underway, longtime members of the "SPN Family" have no choice but to brace themselves for the inevitable: The end to Sam and Dean Winchester's journey. I know, I myself am wondering how I'll adjust to not having these guys as part of my prime time routine, but all good things must come to an end at some point.
As "Crisis on Infinite Earths" draws nearer, we've seen Barry Allen become more accepting of his fated death in the coming crossover. I mean, it's not like he wants to die, but he's willing to heroically sacrifice himself so that his loved ones - and everyone in existence, for that matter - may go on living.
