The fourth entry in the Vin Diesel-starring Riddick series has been firmly mired in development hell for a while, despite reports emerging in the last year that Riddick 4: Furya would shoot in 2020. Indeed, back in May it appeared that a script was close to completion, although it's likely that the general impact of COVID-19 derailed any initial plans on making the movie happen. Things may be looking up for Riddick fans, though, as there's talk today that the sequel is moving forward.
It's been a difficult few months for Cuties, with Maïmouna Doucouré's film subject to ongoing criticism, culminating in legal action in Texas. And despite repeated evidence that those jumping on the controversy bandwagon either haven't actually seen the movie, or wilfully misrepresent it to score political points, the release still presents a headache for Netflix.
We're not too far away now from Halloween, which will be a bit different this year due to the ongoing pandemic. You certainly can't accuse Ryan Murphy of not being prolific, with the writer-producer having a number of different projects on his plate, including the ongoing American Horror Story franchise and the recently released Ratched. Murphy's latest effort, meanwhile, as part of his overall deal with Netflix, will be a Jeffrey Dahmer-focused limited series.
