We have a lot of love for 1999's Deep Blue Sea, from Samuel L. Jackson's performance to the somewhat bonkers plot. A direct-to-video sequel came out in 2018, and a third entry in the series is now reportedly planned for Netflix. We've known since last year that Deep Blue 3 is in development, and more recently that the sequel will be rated R, and may be out this summer. Twitter users have, somewhat predictably, reacted to the news with excitement and various memes referencing the MCU and The Flash.

The streaming platform, which has been one of the few entertainment companies to perform well during the coronavirus lockdown, have now announced that they'll cancel inactive accounts where someone might be still paying for but not using their subscription.
While much of the talk around Zack Snyder has revolved around the "Snyder Cut" in recent months, fans will get the chance to revisit the director's first move into Superman territory with a watch party for 2013's Man of Steel. The Henry Cavill-starring movie, which sets up the DCEU, has drawn some controversy for its use of violence, but remains a solid if perhaps not fully realized Superman picture. Snyder will be running a watch party for the film this Wednesday, May 20th via Vero, and will be providing commentary and answering questions about the production.
Although we still have a while to wait for Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends, the cast and crew of the 2018 Halloween have been busy taking part in a Twitter rewatch this weekend. Star Jamie Lee Curtis participated in the watch party and took the time to share some behind-the-scenes information from the David Gordon Green-directed movie. She particularly discussed how her cast and crew-mates made a special gesture to mark one pivotal scene for her character Laurie Strode.
As the lockdown continues, Netflix provides a reliable source of entertainment, including many titles you might not have considered before.
