Without a doubt, Trumbo was one of 2015’s finest films. Well-acted and gripping throughout, the pic tells the story of the titular screenwriter, who despite being one of Hollywood’s hottest talents in the 1940s, was blacklisted and jailed due to his political beliefs.
Brought to life in stirring fashion by director Jay Roach and star Bryan Cranston, the film has picked up numerous awards over the past several months and has drawn near universal praise from critics, who applaud its impeccable cast and compelling story.
