DC All Access Catches Up With Teen Titans: The Judas Contract Cast On The Red Carpet

Fans of DC animation have much reason to rejoice as the latest entry into the ever expanding library is upon us with the release of Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. Loosely adapting the beloved comic book storyline written by Marv Wolfman and illustrated by George Perez, this film had a sordid past, to say the least. After first being slated for release back in 2008, it was cancelled only to be thankfully resurrected, but now it'll have a bit more of a New 52 flavor to it.

Loosely adapting the beloved comic book storyline written by Marv Wolfman and illustrated by George Perez, this film had a sordid past, to say the least. If you had the good fortune of attending WonderCon last weekend, you may have very well been there for the movie’s premiere, but as for the rest of us, we luckily have videos such as the one DC All Access has provided. Quite obviously, they managed to catch up with key members of the cast on the red carpet.

While the likes of Brandon Soo Hoo (Beast Boy) and Jake T. Austin (Blue Beetle) don’t spill too many beans when it comes to the film’s plot, they do shed some light on their respective character’s growth, whether they be more assertive or reserved in The Judas Contract. The same could be said for Kari Wahlgren (Starfire), but her continuing to talk about her character’s complicated relationship with a returning Nightwing will probably get the attention of many.

Personally, I think Damian Wayne/Robin has a real shot at stealing the show because his bratty attitude is a great juxtaposition to the rest of the team. Voice actor Stuart Allan does hint that he’ll also experience some personal growth and that he too will also have ample interaction with Nightwing, which is actually to be expected.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract is now available on Digital HD, with Blu-ray and DVD releases set to arrive on April 18.
