The gritty crime drama A Walk Among the Tombstones, starring Liam Neeson as an unlicensed private detective, hits Blu-Ray today, and in honor of its release, We Got This Covered is proud to exclusively bring you a clip from one of the bonus features on the disc. Titled “Liam as Scudder,” the video looks at how the acclaimed actor embodied his character, and is taken from the extra “A Look Behind the Tombstones.”
Neeson stars alongside Dan Stevens (TV’s Downton Abbey, The Guest) in the Scott Frank-directed flick as Matt Scudder, an ex-NYPD cop who now works as an unlicensed private investigator operating just outside the law. When Scudder reluctantly agrees to help a heroin trafficker (Stevens) hunt down the men who kidnapped and then brutally murdered his wife, the PI learns that this is not the first time these men have committed this sort of twisted crime… nor will it be the last. Blurring the lines between right and wrong, Scudder races to track the deviants through the backstreets of New York City before they kill again.
WGTC critic Matt Donato was a big fan of A Walk Among the Tombstones, stating in his three-and-a-half star review that:
