Exclusive Behind The Scenes Clip From The Counselor Blu-Ray

One of the most divisive films of 2013 had to be Ridley Scott’s The Counselor. Despite having a legendary director at the helm, one of America’s greatest writers on scripting duties and a cast to die for, it split critics right down the middle, with some calling it a masterpiece and others downright hating it. Unfortunately, the film didn’t last long in theatres and made a quiet exit from the spotlight only a few weeks after releasing.

Now, 20th Century Fox is bringing The Counselor to Blu-Ray and they’ve provided us with an exclusive clip to share with our readers. It’s taken from one of the behind the scenes featurettes and explores Penelope Cruz’s character, Laura. We hear Fassbender and Scott discuss why she’s important to the story and why the success of the film hinges on her relationship with the titular Counselor. It’s short, but it provides a bit of insight into the otherwise convoluted plot and is just a small sample of what you’ll find in the Blu-Ray’s special features.
