What we do know is that he’ll be back as Constantine in the upcoming Justice League Dark animated movie from Warner Bros. Set to be go straight to DVD and Blu-ray in the near future, the featurette above (which comes from the recently released Batman: The Killing Joke) sheds some light on what we should expect along with some other very interesting casting details.

Joining Ryan will be Camilla Luddington (Tomb Raider) as Zatanna, Nicholas Turturro (Blue Bloods) as Deadman, Ray Chase as Jason Blood/Etrigan The Demon, and Jason O’Mara as Batman. Other characters confirmed to appear in Justice League Dark are Swamp Thing, Black Orchid, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern.

Should Justice League Dark succeed, you have to believe that there’s a very good chance the long rumoured live-action movie could finally become a reality. If anything, this animated feature could be Warner Bros.’ way of gauging interest, so it’s going to be interesting seeing how it performs and what kind of impact that may or may not have on the DC Films Universe.
