WB Announces Trouble With The Curve For Blu-Ray In December

Clint Eastwood's acting days are getting rarer and rarer, yet he still manages to churn out an emotional and engaging performance like the one seen in Trouble with the Curve. In the film he acts opposite of Amy Adams and the two together give you another classic father/daughter bonding tale set over a baseball field. The film certainly looked like another Eastwood skipper in my mind, but it ended up being a touching film that tugged on just the right strings.

Warner Bros. will be bringing the latest Clint Eastwood/Amy Adams baseball drama Trouble with the Curve to Blu-Ray in December.

Clint Eastwood‘s acting days are getting rarer and rarer, yet he still manages to churn out an emotional and engaging performance every so often like the one seen in Trouble with the Curve. In the film he acts opposite of Amy Adams and the two give us another classic father/daughter bonding tale set over a baseball field.

The film certainly looked like another Eastwood skipper in my mind, but it ended up being a touching film that tugged on just the right strings.

Justin Timberlake didn’t do much of anything, but the electricity between Eastwood and Adams was enough to keep me glued to the screen and looking forward to the eventual home video release.

Our very own Jonathan Lack also had positive things to say in his review:

Trouble With The Curve is a wonderful father/daughter story, bolstered by terrific performances from Adams and Eastwood. Perhaps not one of the very best films of the year, but a personal sentimental favorite.

WB will be bringing the film home in a Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack, with the following bonus content confirmed:

  • Trouble with the Curve: Rising through the Ranks
  • Trouble with the Curve: For the Love of the Game
  • UltraViolet Digital Copy (US only)

Trouble with the Curve streets on December 18th, 2012.

I'm an avid watcher of films and I just love discussing and sharing them with the world. I enjoy horror, sci-fi and mostly any genre under the sun, plus I have a slight obsession with Blu-ray's and the whole high definition craze.
