Thor: Ragnarok is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on March 6th, that much we know, but to ensure would-be buyers are fully up to speed, Marvel Studios has detailed all of the special features included in the home video version. And there are quite a few. So let’s get to it, shall we?
First and foremost is a director’s introduction, which will presumably lend Taika Waititi a chance to introduce Ragnarok and its goofy spin on the Marvel template. Beyond that, those who pick up Thor: Ragnarok on Blu-ray can spend time combing through the many deleted/extended scenes, including one which features the Sorcerer Supreme himself, Doctor Strange.
There’s also news of one or two digital exclusives for those willing to shell out money early and pick up Ragnarok via Digital HD. That preliminary rollout will occur on February 20th, before Marvel launches the physical version two weeks later.

Exclusive Short/Team Darryl – Fresh off being unseated as the ruler of Sakaar, the Grandmaster makes his way to Earth to start a new life. It’s been over a year since Thor left Australia and Darryl has been struggling to pay his rent. Now Darryl needs a new roommate to help make the monthly payments. Unfortunately for Darryl, the Grandmaster was the only one who answered Darryl’s “Roommate Needed” ad and with no viable options, the Grandmaster moves in.
