Expected to release onto North American shores on March 20, the Game of Thrones: The Complete First Season Blu-ray and DVD set is sure to become a hot commodity. The gritty HBO drama has become one of television’s most coveted properties, after being developed based on George R. R. Martin‘s novelized fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire. As expected, those books have also become a newly-discovered hit for some.
Today, we have HBO’s Game of Thrones: The Complete First Season Blu-ray/DVD set’s American box art for you. Its visual design is very classy with relatively toned down colours. From the looks of it, however, the combination works extremely well. Collectors and fans alike, are sure to covet this highly-anticipated release.

To many, this may sound like television blasphemy, but I’ve admittedly never watched an episode of Game of Thrones. However, it’s something that is very high on my to-do list. As a result, this set has skyrocketed to the top of my want list, much like yours. If it’s as good as people say, then this one may challenge Six Feet Under for the title of my favourite television show.
