Retailer Listing Reveals Bonus Features And Possible Release Date For Spider-Man: Homecoming Blu-Ray

No matter if you prefer Marvel or DC, I think we can all agree that 2017 has thus far been an exceptionally great year for comic book movies. Having said that, I and many of you out there probably can't wait to add each of them to our respective home video collections. In fact, one in particular that I'm especially looking forward to purchasing is that of Peter Parker's first solo outing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

No matter if you prefer Marvel or DC, I think we can all agree that 2017 has thus far been an exceptionally great year for comic book movies. Having said that, I and many of you out there probably can’t wait to add each of them to our respective home video collections. In fact, one in particular that I’m especially looking forward to purchasing is that of Peter Parker’s first solo outing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Just yesterday, we came across a listing for Batman vs. Two-Face ahead of any official studio confirmation saying that the animated film is slated for an October release. Funnily enough, we’re now finding ourselves in a similar situation with Spidey. As it turns out, Australian retailer JB Hi-Fi claims the hit film will come home on October 18.

Now, it’s important to note that falls on a Wednesday and thus, that won’t be the American street date since movies are released here on Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesdays. Still, it stands to reason that those of us on this side of the Pacific will be able to enjoy Webhead’s latest adventure within that general time frame.

There is a bit of a downside, though, that being the mask packaging is exclusive to JB Hi-Fi, thus giving our Australian friends serious bragging rights. Still, we can only assume that retailers closer to home like Best Buy and Target will be rolling out some exclusives of their own.

What’s also worth noting is that a rundown for bonus features to be included were divulged, so here they are:

Featurettes
– The Vulture Takes Flight
– Spidey Stunts
– A Tangled Web
– Searching For Spider-Man
– Aftermath
– Jon Watts: Head of the Class
– Food For Thought
– Brain Power
– Your Changing Body

Deleted & Extended Scenes
– A Film by Peter Parker (Director’s Cut)
– Cafeteria
– Return from ATM
– Triskelion Cleanup
– Anxious Toomes
– Go It Alone
– Happy Calls His Mom
– Midtown News Final Segment
– Mr. Harrington Lessons in Love
– Aaron Still Stuck

Additionally, an exclusive Spider-Man: Homecoming comic book is also part of the package. Unfortunately, its content remains unknown, so it could be anything from a reprinting of the Vulture’s first appearance to an original tale. As always, watch this space for more.
