After many, many months of waiting in anticipation, Sony finally revealed some PlayStation 5 news earlier this month to great consumer applause. With 26 gorgeous new games to look forward to, including such major titles as Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Resident Evil 8 and Horizon Forbidden West, there was certainly no shortage of exceptionally exciting content on display. Sony also hyped fans up even further by fully revealing the PlayStation 5 hardware, and it quickly became a divisive topic due to its highly unusual aesthetics. However, that's only made it an even bigger subject among passionate gamers, and it doesn't seem to be stopping most of the community from being incredibly excited for Sony's next-gen offering.
Last November's launch of Disney Plus has altered the streaming landscape quite significantly. Many Disney films that had found a home on other platforms have been slowly but surely migrating to their permanent residence on the new service, and among those many titles are a number of Star Wars flicks and most of the output of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Netflix is home to an absolutely monstrous amount of content ranging from hilarious comedies to outrageous action flicks to saucy romance films. There's truly no shortage of things to watch regardless of your tastes in movies and shows, but many people share their Netflix account with a friend, spouse, or child. That means that your recently-viewed content is easily seen when the next person uses your profile and scrolls through the app.
The Walking Dead left fans extremely disappointed earlier this year when its season 10 finale was delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. This meant that episode 15 – which ended on one hell of a cliffhanger – served as the season's cap, and viewers have been left wondering how the war against the Whisperers will ultimately end when the true finale finally airs in the near future. Not much information exists to help us piece together what may end up happening, but one bit of information was made public during the promo for the finale: Maggie (Lauren Cohan) is headed back to the show.
Apex Legends is one of the most popular battle royale games on the market right now, and that's saying quite a lot considering how many titles are available within the genre. Respawn has invested a lot in ensuring that the game continues to do well, and although they may not always achieve the perfect balance, they've consistently tried to adjust the maps, weapons, and characters in ways that keep everyone as happy as possible.
Netflix has had a great few months of content, which has worked out well for everyone stuck inside throughout the ongoing pandemic. Huge hits like Steven Spielberg's E.T. the Extraterrestrial, horror classic The Silence of the Lambs, Spike Lee's Da 5 Bloods and season 4 of 13 Reasons Why have kept viewers consistently occupied this month. And today, two more films are being added to the service, though you'd be forgiven for not knowing anything about either of them.
Netflix Originals are some of the service's most successful content, and immensely popular shows like Money Heist, Stranger Things and Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness have brought in record viewer numbers. While not every new original release is quite so beloved, the sheer amount of them ensures that the streaming platform always has something for fans of nearly every genre. As a matter of fact, Netflix's Top 10 list is being dominated today by four very different Netflix Originals, and some of them are high-quality content that you're not going to want to miss.
