Disney Plus Announces Loki Premiere Date
When Disney Plus' roll call of Marvel Studios series were first announced, it was believed that they would just be one-off event shows and not ongoing productions, like The Mandalorian, for example. Over time, though, that's looked more and more likely to be incorrect. Animated series What If...? is definitely getting a second season and there've been rumblings of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier continuing on as well. Then, of course, we've got Loki, which will have a longer shelf life, too.

WB Reportedly Considering Introducing A Latino Superman In The DCEU
Last week, Warner Bros. finally cast the DCEU's Supergirl, with newcomer Sasha Calle hired to play Kara Zor-El in The Flash movie. Calle's casting is a big deal as it marks the first time the Girl of Steel has been portrayed by a Latina actress. Of course, ever since Henry Cavill's future in the franchise began to look shaky a few years ago, there've been rumors that the studio wanted to diversify the Superman family, and it's possible that Calle's hiring is just one part of WB's plans.

And with its own more mature tone and increased cinematic feel, the show looks to be an instant hit with viewers.

Disney Plus users are often digging into the wealth of MCU content that the Mouse House's streaming platform has to offer, but today subscribers are going Marvel crazy. No less than three of the franchise's movies are dominating on the site, as according to FlixPatrol's latest figures, the seventh most popular film on D+ in the US right now is Avengers: Endgame, the eighth is Avengers: Infinity War and the ninth is Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Marvel Fans Freaking Out Over Big Hero 6 Characters Coming To The MCU
Today brought some surprising news for Marvel fans. According to an exclusive by The DisInsider, the studio is planning on bringing characters from Disney's Big Hero 6 into the MCU. The hit 2014 animated movie is actually based on Marvel characters to begin with, so it makes sense, but it'd still mark a major crossover between the MCU and Disney's universe and since the news dropped, it's gone viral on social media.

James Gunn And Margot Robbie Discussing New Harley Quinn Project
Following her last appearance in Birds of Prey last year, Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn will be back for her third movie in The Suicide Squad this August. Right now, we don't know exactly what's next for the Clown Princess of Crime but with BoP not performing as well as hoped and Warner Bros. putting a lot of stuck in Suicide Squad spinoffs, it's looking like Robbie might collaborate with director James Gunn again in the future.
