The CW’s New Batwoman Javicia Leslie Reacts To Her Casting
Nobody expected Ruby Rose to quit Batwoman. Her casting was announced with great fanfare when the show was being developed and despite rumors of unhappiness on set, most expected her to stick it out for a little longer than a single season. But I guess if you've gotta go, you've gotta go. Her departure left The CW in an awkward spot: do you recast the role and carry on like nothing's happened or write the lead character out of the show? Whatever the case, they had to think fast, as Batwoman's second season is still scheduled for January 2021.

Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Star And Creator React To The Cancellation
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina was a fun supernatural romp through a witchy world and quickly picked up a dedicated fanbase. Despite the amount of love for the show, though, something must have been going wrong behind the scenes as earlier this week, Netflix announced that they've cancelled it. It'll now conclude with a fourth season to be aired later in 2020, comprising of eight episodes.

Fans Find Awesome New Terminator: Dark Fate Easter Egg
Fate dealt Terminator: Dark Fate a cruel hand. After years of terrible Terminator movies, expectations were low, but this film was absolutely the best in the franchise since Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Sadly, however, audiences burnt by crap like Salvation and Genisys stayed away and the pic is estimated to have lost Paramount $120 million. It's a real shame, too, as the movie was packed full of little touches that thrilled longtime fans and had some incredible special effects (bringing back Edward Furlong's John Connor circa 1991 was jaw-dropping).

Halloween Kills Director Teases A High Kill Count In The Film
Halloween Kills looks set to follow in the bloody wake of 2018's Halloween when it explodes into theaters this October. Michael Myers is back (again) to menace Jamie Lee Curtis' Laurie Strode, though this time it sounds as if things are going to get crazier than they ever have before in the venerable horror franchise. David Gordon Green returns to direct, but horror master John Carpenter remains on board to provide a chilling synth score.

It's probably just nostalgia talking, but Star Trek: The Next Generation is 'my' Star Trek. It's what I used to watch when I was a kid, the books I used to check out of the library and hell, I've even got a battered Worf action figure tucked away in a box somewhere. As the years tick by, it's become one of the most iconic shows in the expansive Star Trek canon, with Star Trek: Picard being a semi-sequel to it.

So far, we've seen a COVID-19 influenced promo, a set of character posters for the show and some stills depicting what's coming down the line. She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power Trends As Fans Demand A Movie
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power has been a big success for Netflix. The reboot of the 1980s property quickly proved a hit with its target audience and critics alike, with the first, third, fourth and fifth seasons all scoring a perfect 100% on the Tomatometer (and the second is at 85%). Granted, there are those who have angrily decried the more cartoony character designs and LGBTQ representation, but it's probably best to ignore grown men who get worked up into a fury over a cartoon aimed at young girls.

New Black Widow Promo Photos Tease The MCU’s Phase 4 Opener
If COVID-19 hadn't happened, Black Widow would just be finishing up its theatrical run. Originally planned to release in early May, the trailers promised some kickass super-spy action and one of our last looks at the pre-Endgame MCU. Despite some rumors that Marvel Studios were considering bringing it to Disney+, the movie is now scheduled to arrive on November 6th, by which time cinemas should definitely be open again.
