The High Court Judge is currently deciding whether his libel case against News Group Newspapers succeeds, which turns on whether the abuse allegations made by his ex-wife Amber Heard are credible. If the case goes Depp's way, it'll be seen as a vindication and he may see a sudden career uptick. If he loses, though, then he could be on the hook for millions of pounds in legal fees, will suffer a huge dent to his reputation and it'll wreak havoc on his future projects.

The Haunting of Hill House remains one of the scariest TV shows I've ever seen. Sure, it was a very well-performed family drama, but the ghostly scares in it had me literally jumping out of my seat. After that success, a second season seemed inevitable, though there was the problem that the current story had come to a natural end. So, creator Mike Flanagan is taking a different tack and the second season - The Haunting of Bly Manor - will be a new tale featuring some of the season 1 cast in different roles.
