Fans are pretty optimistic that the Snyder Cut of Justice League will be markedly better than Joss Whedon's theatrical version. After all, Zack Snyder has been treating us to completely new and unscreened clips from his edit like the one featuring our first glimpse of Darkseid. We’ve also seen some drastically altered (and way cooler) snaps of characters like Steppenwolf and leaked concept art of the Padaremons. Not to mention that clip from his cut that showed off Henry Cavill in Superman’s black costume visiting Alfred.
The destruction of Mjolnir in Thor: Ragnarok was a pivotal moment for Thor’s character arc. He unlocked his true potential and understood what it really means to be the God of Thunder. But for a brief moment, when his evil sister Hela (played by Cate Blanchett) destroyed the powerful relic, it seemed like the Norse superhero had been robbed of his will to fight. And just like that, Mjolnir became more than a hammer; it became a symbol that was inextricably linked to Thor and the MCU. So, we’d be surprised if it didn’t zoom back into the story of Love and Thunder.
Captain America’s send-off at the end of Avengers: Endgame was a fitting tribute to the leader of the super-group. Chris Evans’ run in the MCU came to a graceful conclusion, with most loose ends being tied up as he guided us, and the Russos, through the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But has Steve Rogers uttered his last “Avengers Assemble!” of the series? Maybe not, as a new MCU theory suggests that Cap might just play a brief role in Black Widow.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has managed to create some of the most memorable on-screen superhero personalities, but when it comes to villains, the list of good antagonists is a lot shorter. Most people would agree that Josh Brolin’s performance as Thanos is easily the most enthralling one. His popularity might also explain why there’s so much buzz around the possibility of The Mad Titan returning in future MCU movies. While his next appearance hasn’t been confirmed by Marvel yet, our sources have heard a thing or two.
Ryan Reynolds is a lot of things: a great actor, a social media laugh riot, owner of cellphone carrier company Mint Mobile and a great husband and father (we’re just making an assumption on that one, but it’s a relatively safe one). Moreover, we love him for how hard he lampoons Green Lantern and how he champions the awesome Deadpool movie franchise. But I do think his latest move is one that is truly deserving of praise, cementing his reputation as an all-around nice guy.
The PlayStation Blog has announced that Spider-Man is being added to the roster of Marvel's Avengers, but is exclusive to the PS4/PS5 versions of the game.
