Though Spider-Man and the Hulk have yet to meet in the MCU, the pair are often mentioned in the same sentence as the two most spoiler-prone members of the Marvel cast. Even the Reddit user who shared this endearing new image of the actors enjoying some free time during the Avengers: Infinity War press tour labelled their post as a “Rare Photo of leakers evading the Marvel Snipers after spoiling the A4 Title.”

Indeed, this pair have the track records to back up their respective reputations. Infinity War co-director Joe Russo even singled out Holland as one of the reasons why the cast of the recent Marvel megahit were given fake scripts to avoid leaks.

Ruffalo, meanwhile, had people thinking for a while that he really did spoil the Avengers 4 title when he guested on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Russo Brothers quickly fake-fired the actor for this offense, but while it was later found out that the name Ruffalo blurted out on the show was The Last Avenger, fans immediately questioned the legitimacy of this ‘spoiler.’

In fact, with co-stars Don Cheadle and Karen Gillan each admitting recently that they don’t know the title, it’s quite possible that none of the cast has been privy to this information. After all, when Marvel Studios have gone to such lengths to prevent this info from getting out early, letting Ruffalo in on the secret sounds unusually reckless.

In any case, there’s a pretty good chance that we’ll be learning the official title for Avengers 4 when the trailer drops in the next month or so. Either way, though, Holland and Ruffalo can finally stop worrying about spoiling the film when it hits theaters on May 3rd, 2019.
