Johnny Depp might not be returning as Captain Jack Sparrow, but Disney is not about to throw out the super-lucrative Pirates of the Caribbean franchise with him. The challenge the studio will face, though, is populating their reboot movies with characters that are as beloved as those from the earlier films, such as Keira Knightley's Elizabeth Swann, Geoffrey Rush's Hector Barbossa and, of course, Sparrow himself.

Robert Rodriguez Will Direct Multiple Episodes Of The Book Of Boba Fett
Boba Fett's big comeback episode was one of the best instalments of The Mandalorian season 2, partially thanks to legendary director Robert Rodriguez being behind the camera, making his Star Wars debut. This proved to be just the beginning of a surprising new partnership with Lucasfilm for the Once Upon a Time in Mexico filmmaker as, when news of spinoff series The Book of Boba Fett came out, it was revealed that Rodriguez would be serving as exec producer.

Spider-Man: No Way Home Plot Leak Teases How The Sinister Six Form
There's a lot of discussion around Spider-Man: No Way Home, leading to some confusion about what's actually 100% true and what isn't. Right now, it's a fact that both Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina are back as Electro and Doctor Octopus, reprising their roles from previous versions of the franchise. Given that these two are involved, it seems logical to assume that more villains will reappear in the threequel alongside them as well. Another four more, maybe, to form a certain Sinister Six.

Loki Showrunner Teases Unexpected Captain America Crossover
The Loki premiere gave Marvel fans a lot to ponder, as it introduced the concept of the Sacred Timeline and threw into question how much free will the characters have and how much is predetermined by fate. For instance, the Avengers' Time Heist in Endgame is said to have been pre-destined, but Loki making off with the Space Stone apparently wasn't. What fans are curious about, then, is whether Captain America's own personal time trip was supposed to happen, too.

Loki Confirms That The Trickster Always Planned To Betray Thanos
Loki and Thanos have an interesting partnership in the MCU. The origins of their team-up happened off screen, but we saw in The Avengers that the Mad Titan had lent the Asgardian prince both his Chitauri army and the Mind Stone so that he could conquer Midgard, AKA Earth, getting the Space Stone for Thanos in return. Obviously, this didn't go to plan, and the next time the two came face to face, Loki stood up to his former boss and was killed for his bravery.

The Book Of Boba Fett Will Be The Mandalorian Season 2.5
The bad news is that we'll be waiting a while for The Mandalorian season 3 to get here, but the good news is that The Book of Boba Fett should scratch the itch fans have for more of Din Djarin's corner of the Star Wars universe. When the latest run's finale ended with a tease at Temuera Morrison's bounty hunter receiving his own spinoff, folks worried it was replacing the next outing of the show. That's not necessarily the case, though. Instead, it'll be more like "The Mandalorian season 2.5."
