For one, the WarnerMedia Upfronts presentation brought the announcement of two brand new animated series - Batman: Caped Crusader, from the mind-blowing trio of Bruce Timm, Matt Reeves and J.J. Abrams, and My Adventures with Superman, a fresh all-ages take on the early days of Clark Kent and Lois Lane. On top of that, though, you might have missed the news that an Injustice animated movie is coming.

Pedro Pascal Coming Under Fire For Supporting Gal Gadot
The social media drama surrounding Gal Gadot continues to rage on. Last week, the DC star incited a Twitter storm after sharing her response to the growing tensions in Israel and Gaza. The Israeli actress called for peace on both sides, but the specific wording of the post rubbed many people up the wrong way, with Gadot becoming Public Enemy No. 1 as folks labelled her as a Zionist, especially in regards to her two-year service in the Israel Defense Forces.

A Terrible Ryan Reynolds Movie Is Coming To Disney Plus Next Month
A movie that's both one of the weakest in the filmography of Ryan Reynolds and one that marked a major turning point in his career is debuting on Disney Plus next month. What is the curious movie in question? I'm referring to X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the 2009 Fox superhero flick that featured the Canadian star making his very first appearance as Wade Wilson/Deadpool. Origins itself might be trash, but it's arguably worth revisiting for its importance in Reynolds' career as the Merc with the Mouth.

Netflix has announced a load of great new titles that are on their way to the platform in June, but unfortunately it's just a rule of streaming that subscribers lose a ton of awesome stuff in exchange for receiving fresh viewing material. Over 40 movies and TV shows are being removed from Netflix over the course of next month, with some iconic and beloved efforts among them.

DC Fans Freaking Out Over New Batman: Caped Crusader Show
DC fans were floored this morning when a brand new Batman TV show was announced. At the WarnerMedia Upfronts presentation this Wednesday, it was revealed that Batman: Caped Crusader is on the way, an animated effort coming from the minds of three top creators - Batman: The Animated Series guru Bruce Timm, The Batman director Matt Reeves and J.J. Abrams. And from what we've seen so far, it looks like a dream project for Dark Knight lovers.

Robert Pattinson Reportedly Loved Playing Batman
After much delay, next March finally sees the release of The Batman, marking Robert Pattinson's debut as the Dark Knight. Following Ben Affleck's tenure in the cape and cowl, which didn't really go to plan, you can bet that Warner Bros. is eager for Pattinson to remain aboard the franchise for a long while yet. But is this something he would want? The British actor has been notoriously blockbuster-shy since the end of the Twilight saga, after all.
