Christopher Eccleston Says He’s Really Enjoyed Returning To Doctor Who Universe
Something that Doctor Who fans thought would never happen actually came to pass recently, as Christopher Eccleston returned to play the Ninth Doctor in a new audio drama series. The boxset doesn't come out until next spring, but the actor - who starred in the sci-fi show for just one season in 2005 - shared a selfie on social media that confirmed he's begun recording. And it sounds like it's gone well so far, too.

As Friday falls on the 25th this week, that means that Santa will be delivering a handful of new Disney Plus releases along with our presents this year. Christmas Day sees four new titles going up on the Mouse House's streaming service. That's a small haul compared with the usual amount, but D+ has loaded up the previous weeks to leave Friday the 25th's arrivals nice and lean, Maybe to put more emphasis on the latest major movie release coming to the site - Pixar's Soul.

Popular Prequel Trilogy Character Reportedly Saved Baby Yoda From Order 66
The Mandalorian finally revealed some answers about Baby Yoda's past halfway through its second season. As Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano entered the scene, we learned that The Child's real name is Grogu and he was raised in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant prior to the rise of the Empire. As for how he survived the massacre of the Jedi that occurred when Palpatine executed Order 66, we were told that he was rescued and hidden away. But who was it, out of the wide Star Wars galaxy, that did the rescuing?

Diggle Will Reportedly Be Revealed As Arrowverse’s Green Lantern Soon
The idea that John Diggle is destined to become the Arrowverse's Green Lantern is the oldest fan theory in The CW's DC franchise, and a major tip of the hat was paid to it in the Arrow series finale earlier this year when Diggle appeared to be gifted with a green power ring, sent to him from space. Though that show has now ended, the Arrowverse continues and David Ramsey was recently confirmed for a multi-episode, multi-series arc next season. And it's in these episodes that we might finally see Diggle suit up as the Emerald Knight.

Young Luke Will Reportedly Return To The Mandalorian Universe
In a season full of secrets, this week's The Mandalorian finale delivered what was arguably its biggest. When Din Djarin and his allies were in deadly danger, who should come and save their lives but Luke Skywalker! The young Jedi, at this point in the timeline at the height of his powers, plowed through a platoon of Dark Troopers before taking Grogu with him to train up the little guy in the ways of the Force. It was a cameo that not only blew fans' minds, but also completely changed the dynamics of the show.

Spider-Man 3 Reportedly Features Three Different Goblins
The more we hear about it, the more ambitious Spider-Man 3 becomes. So far, we know that the threequel will feature at least two legacy villains - Jamie Foxx's Electro and Alfred Molina's Doc Ock - which likely means that more familiar faces from the web-slinger's cinematic history are on the way. It's generally thought that Marvel/Sony could be gathering together a kind of multiversal Sinister Six, but hey, why stop at just six?
