If Tom Holland really isn't too pleased about Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire potentially returning to the franchise he's been headlining, he's about to receive even more unwelcome news. The 24-year-old clearly thinks that three Spider-Men is a crowd, but that number pales in comparison to the actual amount that could appear in the upcoming film.
Plenty of people are overjoyed that Chappelle's Show is finally available to stream on Netflix. The beloved sketch comedy series can now be enjoyed on both the aforementioned platform and HBO Max, but longtime fans of the titular comedian's most well-known work might notice that a particular episode is missing from both services. Predictably, it turns out that this omission isn't an oversight. In fact, the decision to not include it is probably for the best.
We already know that three different versions of Spider-Man are likely going to be teaming up in an upcoming movie, but now it seems possible that there might be a trio of Mary Janes sharing the big screen as well. Zendaya is set to return as MJ for the next installment of the franchise and could potentially be joined by Kirsten Dunst's version of the character, who's in a relationship with Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker.
Now that Deadpool is about to make his long-awaited debut in the MCU, several staples of the franchise will likely be different than they were in the character's first two films. The other two actors to portray the character on the big screen within the past twelve years both won Academy Awards for their performances, while the aforementioned 48-year-old's zany work was widely criticized by both critics and moviegoers alike.
Depp's side, but it appears that Disney most definitely isn't. According to sources close to WGTC - the same ones who told us that live-action remakes of Bambi and Robin Hood were in the works, and that Aladdin is getting a sequel, all of which were correct - the House of Mouse is reportedly no longer interested in bringing back the embattled actor in any capacity when it comes to the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise. Apparently, the two sides were discussing a small role or cameo for the 57-year-old in the upcoming reboot, but now the studio is said to be abandoning those plans following the results of his trial.
At long last, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are all set to rejoin the Spider-Man franchise in the titular superhero's next flick. While not everyone involved is too thrilled with the decision (mainly Tom Holland), Sony appears ready to make sure the two actors continue to reprise their respective roles as Peter Parker for a long time to come. According to our sources, the studio is planning to produce several TV shows centered around the friendly neighborhood vigilante and those at the top reportedly want the aforementioned performers to star in at least some of them.
